3:15 p.m.: Optional stream hike at Fall Run Park to tour a recent stream restoration project

During the workshop, a team of experts will cover a comprehensive array of topics including:
• Current stream restoration design practices • Stream stabilization vs. stream restoration• Post-construction monitoring • Design and construction details and standards • Identifying potential stream restoration project sites • Construction cost/estimating consideration• Case studies including pros and cons of each approach • Natural channel design • Challenges of construction in environmentally sensitive stream environments
