Grouting of Area 6
Community Involved: Township of O’Hara
Project Goal: To evaluate the effectiveness on wet weather flow reduction utilizing robotic equipment to grout sewer joints and defects.
Project Summary: O'Hara has previously grouted small sewersheds to reduce inflows and infiltration. The current project will grout a large sewershed to demonstrate that this non-trench method alone is capable of generating significant flow reduction. Project includes televising, cleaning, joint testing and grouting of all the sanitary sewers in Area 6.
